About Councilor Bob

I have established this web site to provide the residents of Bosque Farms information about the Governing Body and the actions that they have taken in the past several years. I have been a part of that, having been elected to the position of Village Councilor in March 2004, and again in March 2008. Prior to being elected to the Council, I served on the Planning & Zoning Commission for 4 years. I have over 11 years of service to the Village of Bosque Farms. I am running for Mayor in March 2012. I will work hard to support this Village, as I have done for over 11 years now. I would greatly appreciate your vote in the upcoming election.

A lot has been accomplished in the last few years by the Governing Body, and I have had a lot of involvement in this work. Some of these accomplishments are outlined in my Opinions & Accomplishments web page at: A Councilor's Opinions and Accomplishments There is still a lot to be done, especially with regard to compliance with the EPA's arsenic rule for drinking water, maintaining our water/sewer system, economic development, support for youth programs, support for senior programs, and support for our Library, just to name a few things.

If you want to know about my background, please indulge me as I put forth a bit of self-promotion:

I thought I would share a little trivia with you. I was asked by a local Bosque Farms photographer, Chip Simons, to participate in a photo shoot a few years back. He was commissioned to take photos for the Bailey Hat Company for their catalog and web site. He had me pose in western attire to promote their western hats. Darned if they didn't use one of his photos for their promotional materials! You can see it on-line at the following URL: http://www.baileyhats.com/bailey_western.cfm

or here's a copy:

Thanks, Chip!
